Why we're tackling men's health
Men across our region experience disproportionate health outcomes, often linked to lower health awareness, delayed care, and a reluctance to seek support early. When men put their health last, the impact extends beyond the individual to families, workplaces, and the wider community.
That’s why we’re teaming up with local organisations including The Q, Club Services Ipswich, and Club Parkview, with the support of rugby league legend Alfie Langer, to spark conversations and drive action across the region.
By tackling men’s health together, your support helps raise awareness, fund research, and invest in equipment that improves care close to home.
It takes balls to tackle men's health.

Your support in action
Your support helps turn awareness into action. Funds raised through this initiative will support men’s health research, early intervention initiatives, and vital equipment that strengthens care across the region. This includes areas where men are disproportionately affected, such as mental health and suicide, prostate cancer, and heart disease.
By investing in prevention, understanding, and treatment, your generosity helps create better health outcomes for men and long-term benefits for families and communities across West Moreton.
Your support could help fund:
- research that improves understanding and prevention of conditions impacting men, including mental health, suicide, prostate cancer, and heart disease
- early awareness and intervention initiatives that encourage men to seek support sooner
- equipment that supports diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for men across the region
